In 2011, LBX will introduce five new Link-Belt X3 series excavators beginning in the first quarter with the debut of the 250-, 300- and 350-class machines at ConExpo in March. Mid-year, a 250 Long-Front and 470-class excavator will be made available. Rototilt Offers Attachments for Small Excavators →

The R16-9, R27Z-9 and the brand new R60CR-9 are loaded with the latest operator conveniences, serviceability improvements and efficiency enhancements, according to the manufacturer. LBX is poised to meet the new interim Tier IV engine requirements with the launch of five models in the new X3 series of Link-Belt excavators in March 2011 at ConExpo. The new models available in 2011 include the 250 X3 which replaces the 240 X2, the 250 X3 Long-Front which replaces the 240 X2 long-front, the 300 X3 which replaces the 290 X2, and the 350 X3 which replaces the 350 X2. The plant is the first manufacturing facility in North America for Wilh. Schulz GMB of Krefeld, Germany. The Schulz Xtruded Products plant will produce pipes for the oil and gas industry, and plans are to initially employ 200 workers.
