Giberson Enterprises, the importer to the United States of the Eco-Crusher, held product demonstrations on Thursday, June 8 in Patterson, NY, at the yard of G & M Construction.

The Eco-Crusher is an excavator attachment that converts an excavator into a portable jaw crusher, which is useful for smaller recycling jobs. The machine is designed to recycle materials, such as concrete, asphalt and oversize rock.

The Giberson family was named the product distributor approximately one year ago and has had tremendous success at trade shows and field demonstrations, including the most recent one at G & M, according to Larry Giberson.

Touted as being able to produce 40 tons (36.3 t) of aggregate material in an hour, the Eco-Crusher has developed a reputation as a reliable, portable, affordable jaw crusher.

“We have found that if you can keep the Eco-Crusher busy the equivalent of one full day each month, it will pay for itself,” Giberson said. “Anything beyond that is profit.”

Owner of G & M Construction Greg Mancuso has owned an Eco-Crusher for approximately one month and said that the machine lives up to its reputation. He has used the Eco-Crusher to process concrete with rebar, oversized stone and asphalt.

“Contractors from across the northeast are identifying the niche that the Eco-Crusher can fill,” said Scott Smith, regional sales manager of Giberson Enterprises. “If a contractor is stockpiling materials from various job sites or if he would like to re-use material at the job site he typically needs to have in excess of 5,000 tons to get a custom crush operator to come in. The Eco-Crusher handles this type of job for the contractor at a considerable cost savings.”

The Eco-Crusher comes in three different sizes from a 3/4-cu.-yd. to 1-1/3-cu.-yd. load capacity.
