The four new mini-excavators from New Holland Construction complement the company’s skid steer/light construction equipment line. New Holland Construction’s mini-excavators are agile and easy to operate. Because they are compact, they can easily maneuver and work in backyards, inside buildings and other cramped quarters where larger machines can’t reach. The full-circle swing allows the operator to dig anywhere around the machine, and to deposit soil precisely, without repositioning the machine. The upper frame rotates 360-degrees and the boom pivots 60-degrees to the left and right, giving the operator a high level of control when digging near foundations and other obstacles. The boom on the EC45 pivots 75-degrees to the left and 55-degrees to the right. New Holland mini-excavators are designed for operator convenience and productivity. Entry access can be made from either the left or right side of the machine, a real time-saver during start and stop work when the operator must frequently hop on and off of the machine. A control pattern change valve enables operators to select their preferred control pattern choice, either excavator or backhoe style. Attachments, including hydraulic hammers, tampers and ditch cleaning buckets, extend the capabilities of mini-excavators beyond just digging. Attachments are easily installed using the auxiliary hydraulic circuits with quick disconnect fittings. Specialty attachments are available from New Holland. New Holland Construction mini-excavators feature a top-mounted boom cylinder, which eliminates the potential of damage from contact with material spilling out of the bucket, or contact with the blade or ground during deep excavation work.
