Aggregate Equipment Guide
Designed for use with excavators weighing between 8 and 75 tons (7.2 and 68 t), Geith heavy-duty buckets are ideal for general construction site work as well as more demanding excavation applications involving soil, dirt and gravel. Available in a variety of sizes, Geith heavy-duty buckets weigh between 824 and 9,548 lbs. (373 and 4,330 kg), with the largest model boasting a heaped capacity of 5-1/2 cu. yds. (4.2 cu m).
Standard features — including heavy-duty bottom wear straps and a diamond-folded top section — provide increased strength and wear protection. Optional bolt-on wear shrouds are available, as well. The bucket type’s dual radius shape increases heel clearance, further reducing drag and wear. In addition, the Geith heavy-duty bucket design features a deep profile for high capacity and a low tip radius for greater digging power.
Ensure optimum bucket rotation and digging power with the use of a Geith quick coupler. Manufactured using high-strength steel, the proven hydraulic quick coupler system enables operators to safely and efficiently change between a variety of attachments from the comfort of their cabs.
