The Equipment Lock Company, a Virginia-based company, manufactures and sells universal anti-theft and safety devices for heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, sea containers and more.

TELC’s products mechanically lock the drive controls of all types of equipment, so even if the key is available, the equipment cannot be driven.

Large and small excavators can be secured with the excavator lock. Locking the drive control levers in opposite directions makes it nearly impossible for someone to take the excavator, even if the ignition key is available, according to the manufacturer.
