From Construction Equipment Guide... The Northeast Rockbusters annual spring show in Richmond, R.I., was held the weekend of May 30 to 31 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. More than 1,400 paid guests and hundreds of children watched as chapter members brought in heavy iron of every possible age, shape and era — working iron to dig out stumps, break boulders and move dirt. Jones Crawler Cranes Ltd., of Shaftesbury, Dorset, United Kingdom, purchased the first Link-Belt 75 ton (70 t) TCC-750 telescopic crawler crane at SED, May 13, 2009. Jones Crawler Cranes, owned by Mark and Alexandra Jones, specializes in the rental of hydraulic crawler cranes throughout Southern England. NRC Plant, the UK distributor for Link-Belt cranes, projects the crane will be in service late third quarter or early fourth quarter 2009 following the completion of final testing. Click for more...

Inc., based out of Marietta, Ga., has been working on a $16.7-million bridge replacement contract on State Route 280 (SR 280) awarded to them by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). In addition to the replacement of the bridge, the project includes 1.224 mi. (1.9 km) of road widening and the construction of bridge approaches.
