Page Avenue Extension on Track for 2009 →

Despite a sluggish start caused by weather and resources diverted for high profile projects, Phase 2 of the Page Avenue Extension project will finish on time in late 2009, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) officials said. Work began in 2007. The project will extend Highway 364 another mile basically following Highway 94 west of Jungs Station Road to west of Harvester Road. Major League Work Involved With Braves Triple A Ballpark →

But on April 17, Triple-A baseball teams the Gwinnett Braves and the Norfolk Tides will face off in the Braves’ new minor league stadium at the transformed 44-acre (17.8 ha) site in suburban Gwinnett County, Ga. The roughly $59 million construction project — headed by general contractor Barton Malow Company — is on schedule to have the 10,000-plus-seat stadium ready for the game, said Preston Williams, chief executive officer of the Gwinnett Convention & Visitors Bureau, the entity responsible for developing the land and managing the lease on the county-owned stadium.  Click for more...

Earlier this year, the legendary Orange Bowl was demolished to make way for a new stadium for the Florida Marlins baseball team. Hyundai Unveils New 9 Series Excavators →

At ConExpo earlier this year, a pre-production version of the R210LC-9 was debuted. On Dec. 11 and 12 the R210LC-9 and R290LC-9 models were unveiled to Hyundai dealer principals in Orlando, Fla. The R210LC-9 and R290LC-9 will be available to the market in the first quarter of 2009. Trains Keep a Rollin’ as Morris Group Spans Busy Rail →

John Deere Construction & Forestry has introduced two new wheeled excavators, the 190D W and the 220D W, featuring Tier III-certified engines and significant increases in horsepower, weight and digging forces over their predecessors. Both units have fuel-efficient 5.2-L diesel engines rated at 159 hp (118 kW), with the 190D W weighing in at 44,974 lbs. (20,400 kg) and the 220D W at 51,368 lbs.
