After a brief hiatus due to public health concerns, the Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association (OAIMA) was back at the Ohio State Capitol Rotunda in Columbus for its 22nd Legislative Reception.

The popular event provides an informal setting in which association members can meet with Ohio's elected officials to discuss a variety of issues impacting Ohio's aggregate industry.

Event sponsors included Barrett Paving, Belden, Duff Quarry, Eastman & Smith Ltd., Edw. C. Levy Company, Heidelberg Materials, Lakeside Sand & Gravel, Martin Marietta, Melvin Stone Company, The National Lime & Stone Co., Shelly Materials, Stedman and Watson Gravel Inc.

Established in 1918, OAIMA is Ohio's trade association representing the state's mining operations (except coal) and those allied with the field. Members are involved with commodities such as construction materials — both natural and manmade; sand; gravel; slag and crushed limestone; dolomite; sandstone; salt; clay; shale; gypsum; industrial sand, building stone; lime; cement; and recycled concrete.
