J/D Excavating, of Wellsboro, PA, recently purchased a Volvo EC140 excavator. John Waldron (L), sales manager of Highway Equipment and Supply, Harrisburg, PA, congratulates Les Johnston, owner of J/D Excavating, on his purchase. It is Johnston’s first Volvo and he said that he is very happy with the machine and the service he received from Highway Equipment and Supply. The EC140 will be used for pipeline, landclearing, sewer and general excavating in Wellsboro and the northern tier of Pennsylvania. J/D Excavating is run by Johnston and his wife, Gail, and their son Wade, in addition to three employees.
